PLANT ENGINEER
ChemGen Corp. is seeking an extraordinary engineer to support our manufacturing
operations at our Terre Haute, IN plant. Someone, who will make him or herself
indispensible to us within the first ninety days of employment!

The ideal candidate has 10 years work experience as a plant, process or project engineer,
with at least two years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment. Knowledge of
regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, cGMP, EPA) is required. He/she is proficient in Microsoft
Office applications and can handle multiple projects simultaneously with outstanding
organizational skills.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute all phases of capital projects, provide project engineering and management.
- Develop and maintain change management system to propose, review, implement and track process, software, documentation and equipment changes.
- Generally support the manufacturing plant from an engineering perspective by providing process/mechanical/software trouble shooting & problem resolution.
- Establish preventative maintenance requirements, develop and invoke PM execution strategy with maintenance group.
- Maintain current engineering files.
- Support process operations and Delta V control system when required to maintain continuous 24/7 plant operation.
- Calculate and track process step yields and performance.
- Maintain current Master process batch records and SOPs.
- Develop and execute process optimization thru process procedure, equipment, materials or parameter modifications.
Delta V programming experience and knowledge of typical fermentation recovery and
separation technologies are a plus. IT and ACAD experience are a plus.
