In a pen study conducted with Hyline W36 and W77 strains, it was shown that
the addition of Hemicell® increased egg production during the period from 18 to
66 weeks by approximately 1% - this improvement was statistically significant.
The addition of Hemicell® to layers being fed the lower energy diets caused
this group to perform as well as or better than hens fed the higher energy diet
without the enzyme. Please see Table 1 and Figure 1 for further results from
this experiment.

A large commercial field trial was conducted with 3 houses containing 57,300
Hyline W36 birds per house. This trial confirmed the production benefits of
Hemicell
® (Table 3).
