Product quality and food safety are of great importance to ChemGen and are key components of assuring excellence in the products we offer to our customers. All ChemGen feed enzyme products are produced to meet or exceed the requirements of the jurisdiction where the products are marketed. Building on an established quality system, in 2006, ChemGen implemented a hazards analysis and critical control points plan (HACCP). Since then, the ChemGen production facilities have been audited for compliance with cGMP and HACCP annually by accredited third party auditors. The HACCP program enables ChemGen to focus on implementing practices aimed at continually improving product quality. |
ChemGen holds quality certifications for AFIA SafeFeed/SafeFood, Facility Certification Institute HACCP, and FAMI-QS.
ChemGen feed enzyme products are produced in accordance with the requirements of the different global regions where the products are authorized and sold. The product specifications meet the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) and Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) general specifications for enzyme preparations used in food processing, and the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) guidance for feed enzymes
